The Miracle of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)’s Sacred Hair, Cure of Evil Eyes & Diseaes

Published

on

In Sahih Bukhari, there is a narration by Usman bin Abdullah bin Wahb that he was sent by his family to Umm al-Mu’minin (Mother of the Believers) Hazrat Umm Salama (RA) with a cup of water. It was customary that whenever someone suffered from the effects of an evil eye, they would send a cup of water to Hazrat Umm Salama (RA). She had a blessed hair of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), which she kept in a silver container. She would place this blessed hair in the water and shake it, and the water would then be given to the afflicted person to drink. The narrator says that when he looked into the container, he saw a few strands of hair in it. This hadith reveals that a blessed strand of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW)’s hair was kept in a container, and it was used to create healing water by immersing it in water for the sick to drink. Indeed, the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is a mercy to all the worlds, and even his blessed hair has been given healing effects by Allah. SubhanAllah!

English Translation

Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi (seat) extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

Prophet (PBUH) Knowledge as Proven by Hadith?

Published

on

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) offered the Fajr prayer. After completing the prayer, he turned to face the congregation, ascended the pulpit, and began speaking about the Day of Judgment. He said that before the Day of Judgment, many significant events would take place. Then, he addressed the people, saying, “Whoever wishes to ask me about anything, let him ask, for I swear by Allah, as long as I am standing on this pulpit, I will answer your questions.”

Upon hearing this, people began to weep, and a sense of awe and reverence filled the atmosphere. The Prophet’s (PBUH) intense presence caused the companions to tremble. He repeated, “Ask me anything you wish.”

A man, who was a hypocrite but appeared outwardly as a Muslim, stood up and asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what will be my fate? Will I enter Paradise or Hell?” The Prophet (PBUH) replied, “Your destination is Hell.”

After this, Hazrat Abdullah bin Huzayfah stood up and asked, “O Messenger of Allah, who is my father?” The Prophet (PBUH) responded, “Your father is Huzayfah,” affirming his legitimate lineage and clarifying any doubts people might have had about his ancestry.

Following this, the Prophet (PBUH) again invited the people to ask him anything they wanted. At this point, Hazrat Umar (RA), out of respect, and said, “We are content with Allah as our God, Islam as our religion, and Muhammad (PBUH) as our Prophet.”
